Both are made by hand in Italy: grenadine silk ties woven in Como, linen and silk squares finished with hand-rolled edges. Start with a foundational colour, navy, burgundy, or black, and add the square that completes it.

A short pairing guide. Burgundy tie with a white or burgundy-edge square under a navy suit. Navy tie with a navy-edge or white square. A black tie with white silk for formal occasions. Forest green for a considered point of colour.
