Versatility & Pairings
Black is in a class of its own. We score it relatively low only because it is typically relegated to more formal events, like funerals, therefore not very versatile. However, we believe it's an essential for any man who is serious about their appearance.

My first impression was one of a slightly stiffer tie than I‘m used to with lined Grenadines. The interlining seemed heavy and a bit rigid, and when worn, the tie doesn't really drape that nicely (yet?) and instead... holds its shape rather well. Unfortunately, a seam at the end on the narrow blade seems to be coming apart and loose threads are peeking out. The taper makes it look like more of a 3“ tie with your button done up so it complements narrower lapels nicely as well if you need it to. It has still become one of my favorite ties to wear. It holds a knot for ages, as Grenadine does, but it gives many other Grenadine ties a run for their money while keeping its own price tag low. Mine’s merely one trip to the tailor away from being absolutely perfect.
Ties come perfectly wrapped in their own cylindrical box perfect for storage or travel, material is excellent quality and customer service is prompt and helpful. Will be purchasing in the future. Mike C.
