Most men's dress socks are an afterthought. Bought in bulk, worn without consideration, replaced without regret. Aklasu exists for the opposite of that.
Our men's dress socks are made from Egyptian cotton, constructed in Italy, and edited to a deliberate range of colours —enough to cover every occasion, not so many that the choice becomes its own problem. That restraint is intentional. It reflects how we think a wardrobe should work.
Why Egyptian Cotton
Not all cotton is the same. Egyptian cotton is grown in a narrow climate that produces longer fibres, known as long-staple cotton. Those longer fibres spin into finer, stronger yarn. The result is a sock that's noticeably softer against the skin, holds its shape through repeated wear, and doesn't pill or thin the way cheaper materials do.
It's a material that rewards daily use. Which is exactly what a dress sock should do.
