Shipping & Returns

Shipping

We ship worldwide. UPS and FedEx deliver to more than 220 countries and territories, and we ship to all of them.

Shipping rates. Standard shipping rates calculate at checkout based on destination and shipping method. Free shipping applies above the order minimum shown at checkout for your destination.

Processing. In-stock orders placed Monday to Friday are processed within 48 hours. Orders placed over the weekend are processed the following business day. You receive tracking once the order ships.

Delivery. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout based on your destination and chosen shipping method. Made-to-order or non-stock items may add up to three weeks. We will let you know if anything in your order falls outside the standard window.

Duties and taxes. Duties and taxes are calculated and shown at checkout where applicable.

Returns

Aklasu pieces are made to be kept. If yours is not what you were hoping for, you may return your order within 15 days of delivery.

What we accept. Returns must be unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging with tags intact. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment, on the schedule of your bank or payment provider. We do not issue store credit.

A note on dress socks. For sanitary reasons, socks that have been tried on cannot be returned.

Free returns and exchanges with Checkout+

At checkout, where available, you can add Checkout+ for a small fee. Checkout+ covers your return or exchange shipping in full, on any item from your order, with no cost deducted from your refund. We use a service called Redo to handle these returns.

If you added Checkout+, email office@aklasu.co with your Order Number to start a return or exchange. We send the label.

Returns without Checkout+

You can still return your order. The cost of the return label is deducted from your refund.

Canada and USA. Email office@aklasu.co with your Order Number. We send you a pre-paid label and deduct the shipping cost from your refund.

International. Two options:

  • Use our pre-paid label. The shipping cost is deducted from your refund.
  • Arrange your own tracked carrier. We cannot refund parcels lost in transit.

Before shipping anything back from outside Canada or the USA, email office@aklasu.co with your Order Number for a Return Authorization. On the customs form, mark the shipment as RETURNED MERCHANDISE with a declared value of $0 to avoid customs delays.

What is not refunded

Duties, taxes, original shipping fees, and Checkout+ are non-refundable.

A note on fairness

We may decline a return or exchange if, in our judgement, the request is fraudulent or repeatedly abusive of the policy.

The 365-Day Guarantee

Every Aklasu tie carries a 365-day guarantee. If your tie is defective or damaged through no fault of your own, we exchange it for a new one. Stains, snags, and ordinary wear are not covered.

Past 365 days, write to us anyway. We prefer working things out to standing on policy.
