Product Information
Add depth and warmth to your wardrobe with the Brown Striped Shantung Tie. The rich brown base is accented with fine light golden-brown stripes, creating a subtle contrast that feels refined and considered. It is a versatile piece that transitions easily from daytime tailoring to more relaxed summer evenings, adding character without excess.
Woven from raw Shantung silk, the fabric is defined by its natural texture and distinctive slubs. These natural irregularities are a hallmark of Shantung silk and ensure that no two ties are exactly alike. The result is a tie with texture and presence that stands apart from smoother, more formal silks.
Pair it with a crisp white or light blue shirt and a suit in tan, grey, or navy for a look that feels balanced and timeless.

The Make

3¼″ at the blade. The proportion that holds against both a notch lapel and a spread collar, full enough to anchor a sport coat without dominating a suit.
Woven in Como on traditional jacquard looms.
A wool core inside the silk, slip-stitched along the length. Gives the knot body, the blade weight, and lets the tie release its creases overnight.
A single thread, gathered loosely along the length of the tie. The reason a well-made tie can be tugged, knotted, and untied for years and still return to its shape.
A hand-sewn anchor at each end of the slip stitch. Small, structural, and the reason the tie does not slowly come undone along its length.
Cut from the same silk as the face of the tie. The blade is held by the cloth it was made for.
With a clear window, so the tie is found at a glance, kept wrinkle-free, and shielded from dust, moisture, and the wear of travel. Made to keep. Made to give.
