Product Information
Teal floral foulard in printed silk, woven in Como. A repeating motif of small flowers in olive, blue and ivory sits across a deep teal ground. Printed silk with the discipline of a foundation piece and the personality of a refined one.
The teal works as a quieter alternative to navy. Against grey, charcoal, mid-blue or brown tailoring, the pattern reads as colour first, motif second.
Three-fold, wool-interlined, self-tipped. Handmade in Italy. Part of our Foulard collection.
Why we called it The Marshall
Marshall came to us asking for teal. After twenty-one years of wearing a suit every day, and a tie collection past three hundred pieces, the colour was the one most big-box brands avoided. Small-batch houses, he had learned, were the only way to keep a wardrobe from settling into the mundane.
His foundation was long since built. The next phase of his career called for additions of a more specific kind.
We don't invent ties looking for buyers. We make what our customers ask for. The Marshall is a small run.

The Make
3¼″ at the blade. The proportion that holds against both a notch lapel and a spread collar, full enough to anchor a sport coat without dominating a suit.
Woven in Como on traditional jacquard looms.
A wool core inside the silk, slip-stitched along the length. Gives the knot body, the blade weight, and lets the tie release its creases overnight.
A single thread, gathered loosely along the length of the tie. The reason a well-made tie can be tugged, knotted, and untied for years and still return to its shape.
A hand-sewn anchor at each end of the slip stitch. Small, structural, and the reason the tie does not slowly come undone along its length.
Cut from the same silk as the face of the tie. The blade is held by the cloth it was made for.
With a clear window, so the tie is found at a glance, kept wrinkle-free, and shielded from dust, moisture, and the wear of travel. Made to keep. Made to give.
