From boardroom pursuits to rooftop escapes, the Thornhill captures a life lived between precision and peril. Woven from pure Italian silk and finished untipped with elegant hand rolled edges, its construction is deliberate, disciplined, and quietly assured.
There is a subtle tension in its lines, shaped by midcentury suspense, mistaken identities, and suitcases packed in haste. Whether worn under the scrutiny of a cross examination or while slipping through a crowd in sharp tailoring, the Thornhill Tie brings composure to the unpredictable. Sophisticated yet elusive, it leaves an impression without leaving a trace.

The Make
3¼″ at the blade. The proportion that holds against both a notch lapel and a spread collar, full enough to anchor a sport coat without dominating a suit.
Woven in Como on traditional jacquard looms.
A wool core inside the silk, slip-stitched along the length. Gives the knot body, the blade weight, and lets the tie release its creases overnight.
A single thread, gathered loosely along the length of the tie. The reason a well-made tie can be tugged, knotted, and untied for years and still return to its shape.
A hand-sewn anchor at each end of the slip stitch. Small, structural, and the reason the tie does not slowly come undone along its length.
Cut from the same silk as the face of the tie. The blade is held by the cloth it was made for.
With a clear window, so the tie is found at a glance, kept wrinkle-free, and shielded from dust, moisture, and the wear of travel. Made to keep. Made to give.
